Enter the world of glassblowing and come play with FIRE! In this first installment of the 3-part (optional) beginner series, you WILL satisfy your curiosity and get past your fears of handling soft glass. Students will learn the basics of tool usage, color application, and the step-by-step process of creating glass blown art. Leave this class with basic knowledge of how hot shop glassblowing works and take home your own creations such as: paperweights, flowers, and blown floats and cups. This class will make your introduction to the medium simple, understandable and FUN! No experience necessary.
