This class will cover stringer control, distortion effects, encasing, and dot placement to make matched sets of small beads for use in jewelry. Students will learn techniques for creating and using stringers to achieve detailed designs in your beads. Students will also explore shaping beads using hand tools. Hearts, tabs, spheres, and cone shaped beads and others will be made. Off-mandrel techniques for making pendants will also be demonstrated.
