This two-day class will give students all the basics to start lampwork beadmaking. This class will stress safety issues, studio set-ups and the basics involved in glass beadmaking. We will be using Moretti/Effetre glass to shape beads, pull stringers, apply dots, and explore various surface decoration techniques. Demonstrations and short lectures will be sprinkled throughout, but most class time will be devoted to hands-on torch time.
No experience is necessary.
