HUGH SALKIND

Photo Coming Soon HUGH SALKIND began his glass career as an apprentice for Bob Snodgrass in 1990. After a year and a half apprenticeship, Hugh started his own studio, Hugh Glass, and quickly became known for his fuming techniques, functional glass art and his Venetian- style hollow beads. Since 2000, Hugh has been a TA for Bob Snodgrass and various EGS glass artists. He has taught beginning borosilicate classes at the Glass Craft & Bead expo in Las Vegas for the last 6 years. Hugh also teaches private classes in Alaska, California, and Oregon at numerous glass studios. Hugh is an active volunteer at the Eugene Glass School and one of the coordinators for the EGS Flame-Off.
