Wendy after many attempts at finding her creative niche, began making jewelry about 6 years ago. She discovered her addiction to beads and realized that jewelry was the artistic outlet she had been looking for. In 2001, she took her first class in Silver Metal Clay and loved the limitless possibilities of the medium. She began creating one of a kind items to incorporate into jewelry and went onto become Senior Instructor for Art Clay classes. She has been teaching a variety of Art Clay classes for 4 years throughout Oregon, Washington and Arizona. She finds that glass is the perfect partner for Art Clay Silver and makes glass cabochons to incorporate into her pieces. Her latest endeavor is learning to make lampworked glass beads, which also incorporate very nicely in silver clay jewelry.
