Tim Jarvis

Tim Jarvis has been blowing glass since 1997. He began as a sculpture major at the Herron School of Art in Indianapolis. While attending Herron full-time, he learned and taught glass blowing at the Indianapolis Art Center. At the Art Center, he studied under Ed Francis (MFA-Glass, Kent State) for three years. Seeking a move to the west coast to further his glass education, he learned of the Eugene Glass School. Tim is now a resident of Eugene, and a volunteer at EGS. Since moving to Eugene, Tim has taken part in months of cane pulling for Universal Glass as well as serving as teacher assistant for the school many times. In addition, Tim has taken part as a student in as many workshops and classes as possible (including those by Karl Ittig, Joseph Zovac, and others).
