Sally Prasch started working in glass in 1970 with Lloyd Moore. She received BFA and Applied Science and Scientific Glass Technology degrees. She has taught flameworking at Pilchuck Glass School; Stanwood, WA; Urban Glass, Brooklyn , NY; Penland School of Crafts, Penland NC; Public Glass, CA; Niijima Glass Art Center, Japan; Snow Farms, Sunderland, MA; Worcester Center for Crafts, Worcester MA. Sally has found glass to be a limitless media for expression, showing flexibility, sound, sharpness, size, and movement. Sally works both scientific and artistic glass and her
work is shown worldwide.
