The neon bug bit me in my 27th year, and I�ve been obsessed with these strange luminous displays ever
since, crafting a mythology both personal and global. Illuminated glass is the perfect alchemy, a marriage
of the ancient and the modern; it�s no accident that I draw on numerous tribal traditions for my imagery.
Over the last decade I�ve been mastering sophisticated glass techniques, which no ordinary neon tube bender
would bother with. I feel like an old world artisan thrown into the 21st century, where I feel it is my
duty to provide a counterpoint to the maddening crush, the overwhelming volume of information which bombards
us daily, by producing intricate glassworks in 3 dimensions which will lend a bit of grace and centeredness
to any environment.
