Jason Harris
Jason has maintained an independent glass studio since receiving his BFA from the University of Oregon in 1995. He has taken classes in glassblowing at Pilchuck Glass School, Stanwood, WA, and has traveled extensively pursuing an interest in all glass mediums. Harris has has the privledge to work with an array of glass masters such as, Robert Mickelsen, Ken Ikushima, Karen Willenbrink, Karl Ittig and others. Co-founder of the Eugene Glass School, Harris continues to serve EGS in various capacities. Mr. Harris enjoys sharing information regarding glass blowing and can often be found at EGS perfecting new techniques and working with a team of fellow glass artists. Jason's most recent employment is building a new glass art studio at the University of Oregon Craft Center. The Craft Center is located at the heart of campus and guarantees to be a very exciting venue for glass art in Eugene.
