Fritz Dreisbach
Fritz Dreisbach has been an influential member of the contemporary glass movement for nearly forty years. He is a founder and former president of the Glass Art Society (established 1971) and was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Craft Council in 1988. He has been associated with Pilchuck Glass School since 1971, serving in a wide variety of capacities over the years and is currently active on the Board of Trustees. He has taught over 300 glass presentations, worldwide. In June 2002, Dreisbach received the Glass Art Society's Lifetime Achievement Award �for his unique and significant contribution to the world of glass� at its annual conference in Amsterdam. He is currently a resident of Tucson, Arizona.
