David Townsend
David began as a ceramic artist in 1993 in Massachusetts. A California native, he returned to the
west coast and began blowing glass in San Diego in 1997. David has worked for many studios on the
west coast, as well as Canada and the Caribbean. He has studied with Randy Walker, Karen
Willenbrink-Johnsen, Ed Schmid, and Fritz Drysbak. David is currently a volunteer hot shop
technician and instructor at the Eugene Glass School.
