Diane Hansen

As a young girl, Diane studied classical art with a French Countess who has a tremendous influence over her. Diane, a native Washingtonian, Arizona State University. She later discovered the Northwest Glass Movement, after being invited to attend the 1989 Pilchuck Auction. She became captivated with glassblowing at the Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle. Diane first attended Pilchuck Glass School in 1991, and has been a student many times since. She has studied with Lino Tagliapietra, Benjamin Moore, Richard Royal, Sonja Blomdahl, David Levi, among other artists. She exhibits both nationally and internationally.
